Josh is an Urban Health Placemaker leading Centric Lab’s engagement with private and public sector bodies.
In addition he is in charge of trend analysis to ensure new decisions are well researched, evidence based and in tandem with broader social, cultural, and economic movements. His work involves high stakeholder engagement, working to identify key opportunities for change within an organisations processes that yield better outcomes.
He has 10 years experience in placemaking which includes my own business filling vacant buildings with artists around the country, and joining the global startup Appear Here as employee #1 in 2013 before establishing Centric Lab in 2016. His business development skills have enabled the company to work on large built environment projects such as Lend Lease’s Stratford International Quarter, AXA Investment Managers 22 Bishopsgate, and Grosvenor America’s Market Terminal Project in Washington D.C., USA.
At Centric he has led the establishment of a new membership organisation for private sector companies including firms such as Lend Lease, Greystar Developments, PLP Architecture, Iceni Projects and more. This was established from scratch with no external funding or support and demonstrates an ability to identify a market gap, value proposition and stakeholder engagement.
