I am a trained architect, working as an urbanist with architecture and planning background.
I am passionate about the planet, and the urban cultures that are interwoven with the social and natural fabric of a place. I believe in design as a force of change for imagining the environment we inhabit and a tool for problem solving in enhancing those environments. My creative process and personal design philosophy is people centric and rooted in place and context. I bring a range of project experience from concept design through to implementation of masterplans, urban design strategies, and sustainable design guidelines, and have played a pivotal role in steering a number of award‐winning, regeneration projects through the statutory development management process, delivering high quality outcomes. I am contributing as a built environment expert on a number of Design Review panels for London Boroughs.
I am a regular visiting critic and guest tutor at the Bartlett, UCL, where I also supervise Masters’ students on their Major Research Projects. I also served as external critic at London School of Architecture this year. I am an active champion of diversity and equality and community initiatives, currently supporting my local CovidAid group. Other interests include walking the parks and rivers, writing, travelling, photography and playing music.
