Nigel is a versatile and accomplished project leader, implementing complex, multi-million development tri-sector, working as a registered architect, client adviser and project manager.
Founded client adviser consultancy Wright CLASS Solutions (2011). He ably navigates issues of design value(s) and quality, complexity in contract, procurement, technology, and organisation, managing client relationships, disbursed teams, and wider public consultation to advance principles of ‘respected diversity’ to celebrate diversity of place, cultural heritage, social engagement, need, and aspiration. Nigel led (Atkins-Oxford) education design team recognised by DfE and OFSTED with local design awards. Cornwall County Council led design and research on low energy schools.
Latham’s heritage and conservation practice senior design and site architect for the award-winning Victoria Retail Quarter and County Arcade-Leeds. Designed the innovative parish church of St James, Temple Normanton featured in AJ and Church Building. Voluntary Work-RIBA Client Adviser Group (2012-current & co-chair 2016-2018) and contributor to the RIBA Client Adviser Professional Services Contract. APM Stakeholder Focus Group (2014-current) providing vital knowledge exchange, nurture, and community of practice. Contributor to ‘single minded project’ publication by Martin Price currently working with the author developing workshops on the concept of complete project management. Design Review Panel Member for two Oxfordshire planning authorities.
