I am Director at Curl La Tourelle Head Architecture with main office in London and further in Bath and Deal.

I have 20 years experience spanning healthcare, schools, housing, HE/FE. I have led award winning projects; Creative Arts Hub Norwich which won a Civic Trust National Award + AJ Excellence Award. A new educational facility in Peckham Rye, won a Blueprint Award + shortlisted Architects Journal Public Building of the Year.

A major residential led mixed-use project for Brent social housing and FE college won 2020 Planning Award. Hornsey Library shortlisted for the Architects Journal Retrofit Awards ‘20. I maintain interest in sustainable architecture, developing a scheme for urban food growing in Brent published in the NLA ‘Carbon Paper’. Working on housing retrofit of 300 council homes Newport, aim of implementing practice environmental action plan for sustainable communities. I engage with design reviews as a member on several review panels. I am RIBA Client Advisor, Part 3 Prof. Practice examiner and critic at the Bartlett + Westminster Schools. I am founder and editor of publication ‘DETAILS’ Volume 5 due to be published May ‘21. Currently increasing my skills on an MSc in Architectural Conservation. I recently became a RIBA Fellow.
