Areas of Expertise
Mixed-use development, Project management, Property development
I am a registered architect who became a developer, responsible for many significant projects.
I have over forty years’ experience in development, achieving outstanding results. I have successfully led major commercial, arts and mixed-use developments in complex and challenging circumstances. As a founder member of Stanhope (London’s premier commercial developer) I led the team that established new benchmarks of quality and effective implementation for UK property development. Since then I have worked independently as an entrepreneur and consultant. In the City, I established Corpnex, an innovative high quality serviced-office start-up, and was senior development consultant on 22 Bishopsgate tower for Union Investment Real Estate, achieving an outstanding planning consent for the tallest tower in the City (for the KPF scheme before Axa bought it).
I am on the board of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and led its project for a new drama school in Peckham, delivered at outstanding speed and economy, and recently nominated for an RIBA award. I am also a member of the Manchester University board’s working group leading the redevelopment of its 26 acre campus in the heart of Manchester. I currently manage complex development projects and trouble-shoot difficult property development-related situations.
