I am a creative person who is passionate about achieving high quality design in the built environment.

I have been working in the field of new build housing development for 20 years and have a wealth of development experience in the housing sector. I started delivering affordable homes for Mendip Housing and then Aster Group both registered providers of affordable homes covering the South West. I joined a disability charity in Hampshire as Executive Director where I linked the Care Services Strategy and New homes delivery creating new homes for truly independent living.

I led a community design team to Win the Housing Design Awards 2015, bringing together a pan disability group who co-designed independent living alongside the architect creating a wheelchair accessible design in an Urban setting. The following year I was highly commended for a master plan to extend a rural village, doubling its size in a cohesive manner with the support of the whole community. The built environment was of particularly interest as this gave the most difficult design challenges to deliver homes that could be accessible for the diverse community it was designed for. I current work at Homes England partnering with Local Authorities delivering homes.
