Donald Roberts is a British Nigerian landscape Architect, who is passionate about creating distinct and engaging landscapes that leave an impression on people and cater to the diverse needs of a community.
Donald’s design expertise has translated into many award-winning landscape schemes all over London and the south-east, including the urban regeneration in Wembley Park and Southwark, Elephant and Castle. His time at Gillespies, Churchmans, PRP, and Assael has cultivated an investigative and strong conceptual approach to design.
Donald joined ETLA in 2020 as Director to lead the design arm of the business and brings with him an excellent sensibility for visionary designs. He has worked on a number of award-winning and prestigious projects in London, including two large Build to Rent (PRS) plots within Quintain’s Wembley Park masterplan. Alongside the design of the public realm, Donald has also designed and implemented podium level communal gardens and sky gardens.
Donald is experienced in BIM implementation and ensures that our landscape practices and designs are BIM compliant. With a background in graphic design, Donald also has a talent for concept design, graphic representation and visualisation. Donald studied Landscape Architecture at Kingston University (BA and postgraduate) and is also qualified in Theology and is currently studying Law. He has since been a visiting associate tutor at the University of Creative Arts, Canterbury.
