Fara is Head of the Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE) a leading authority on equality, inclusive design and training.
CAE is part of Habinteg , with a shared mission of driving greater accessibility and inclusivity of environments to enable disabled and older people to live as independently as possible and be part of a fully inclusive society.
Fara has extensive senior management experience in the disability and inclusion sector spanning 20 years. She has managed significant partnerships and funding across the public, private and charity sectors and led change management projects. She has engaged in external inclusivity networks and currently holds the position of specialist expert for the Design Council and Chair for the Regional Stakeholder Network for Greater London, supporting the Disability Unit within the Cabinet Office on inclusive policy developments.
As head of CAE, Fara is responsible for the leadership and delivery of high quality consultancy and training services. She leads projects and client liaison with over 100 organisation each year. In 2020 she launched CAE Pathways, an innovative training program to support young disabled people take their first steps into careers in inclusion supporting long term sustainable employment.
