Haydn is an architect and holds an MBA from London Business School, where he majored on Design Management in the business environment. He recently completed a course at Cambridge University on ‘The Circular Economy and Global Sustainability’.
He is passionate about the complementary roles of design and business thinking in optimising solutions for the built environment and in delivering impactful benefits.
He has worked primarily on the client side, with British Airways and developer Stanhope, and then in a consultancy capacity to numerous enlightened clients on complex building and infrastructure projects.
Haydn established his niche consultancy believing that the research, briefing, and design methodology used in developing buildings for ‘Big Bang’ in the City of London could readily be applied across use sectors.
He worked on the seminal Broadgate development and was client adviser on the redevelopment of Glyndebourne Opera House. More recently he authored the Design Authority programme for the £32bn Heathrow Expansion Programme and acts as a RIBA-accredited Client Adviser.
