Kate is a Service Designer and Design Researcher.
As Lead Designer at NHS Digital, she’s part of a mission to deliver world-class data, insights and statistics services that improve the health and lives of people in England in innovative ways. Previously Kate worked with numerous global clients in a wide range of sectors at IDEO, including mobility, retail, hospitality, health care, and more. She led inspiring design research programmes and helped organisations develop better ideas by building their capability to understand people and apply this insight to products and services.
Before joining IDEO, while at Participle, Kate developed and prototyped a suite of innovative services that addressed loneliness, wellness, and employability. Kate is part of the teaching faculty for the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design summer and winter school, where she co-delivers workshops in People Centred Research, facilitating hands-on practice in the fundamental tools, methods and outputs of design research.
