Areas of Expertise
Policy, Sustainable mobility, Transport masterplanning
I am a transport planner, and Managing Director of Vectos, which with associated companies encompasses 50 professionals specialising in Transport Planning and Highway Engineering for the private sector, and Research and Demonstration, largely for the EU, in the social science and psychology underpinning accessibility and mobility.
My experience is in all facets of accessibility and mobility, which includes transport, and in bringing forward development growth across all sectors, including retail, commercial, industrial, town centre, shopping centre, leisure, energy and particularly mixed-use growth incorporating homes and jobs. I am appointed specifically by clients to work on complex projects, including helping to design and bringing forward the next generation of Garden Towns and Cities.
I am appointed specifically by both the private and public sectors to act as expert witness in Public Inquiries and Hearings. The research and demonstration arm of the company is somewhat unique, and this is something that I have promoted and been part of for the past ten years. I have taken the lessons and experience from new facets and ideas surrounding mobility, measured largely within the EU, and applied them within the UK, nowadays within always the ‘big plan’ of carbon reduction and improved health in mind.
