I’m currently an Associate Architect with Hall McKnight.

I graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2003 and worked for a number of local practices before moving to Australia to travel and participate in the Deaflymics Games for Ireland in Melbourne. I initially took up a post with Melbourne City Council’s Urban Design Department and latterly was with an award-winning sustainable architecture firm. I returned home to Belfast in 2006 and have worked for Hackett Hall (now Hall McKnight) ever since. I have worked on a wide range of projects including a new Transport Hub for West Belfast, a stone dwelling on the Mourne Mountains and a high-end residential development in Prague.

I’m currently involved in designing a new campus building for Gallaudet University for the Deaf in Washington D.C. As well as being project architect for several highly crafted projects, I was the recipient of the ‘Project Architect of the Year’ award at the 2019 RSUA Awards ceremony for our work on the Hub in Belfast. Away from the office, I enjoy participating in research and recently presented a piece at the European Society for Mental Health and Deafness Congress in Wales.
