Multi-award-winning director Sarah Jones-Morris established in 2017, Landsmith Associates, based in Bristol following 20 years in private practice.
Sarah is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute, has an MA in Urban Design and is a panel member for the Design West, was selected at one of the Design Council’s Leading Women in Design. She is also chair of the Landscape Institute South West and co-founded the CIC Association of Collaborative Design. In 2019, she came second in the Landscape Institute’s presidential elections and Building with Nature Assessor. She has had various roles; public speaker, lead designer, project manager, contract administrator, mentor, community and stakeholder facilitator, design critic and event organiser.
Her experience ranges from landscape and health-led masterplans to public realm regeneration to co-design, digital placemaking, site construction, and detail design. Her works range from dinosaur parks to visioning strategies for universities, town and parish councils. Recent works include the community-led housing and green infrastructure strategy; We Can Make project with Knowle West Media Centre. Also, Bedminster Green Masterplan, in collaboration with Bristol City Council, Green Infrastructure Strategy for the University of Bristol. In late 2020, Landsmith Associates, as part of the design team with Igloo Regeneration, jointly won Home of 2030 competition.
