Sophie specialises in user-centred service design and digital product strategy.
Passionate about the transformative power of human-centred design for organisations and society, she has over 20 years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on strategic digital service and product development projects for, among others, NHS Digital, Public Health England, Department for Work and Pensions, the National Trust, Bristol City Council, the University of Surrey, and several top design agencies.
Today she works mainly as an embedded consultant within client organisations, specialising in healthcare, public and third sector. She leads ambitious user research and discovery programmes, defines digital product and service strategy, and builds high-performing agile teams able to deliver high-quality user-centred digital services at pace. She is a regular conference speaker, and as chair of the Service Design in Government conference helps shape the conversation about the future of design for public services and social good.
