I founded Studio Bark in 2014 to focus on rigorously environmental and design-led architecture.

We’ve since gone on to star on Grand Designs on two occasions, have won an RIBA award for the Black Barn (an off-grid isolated dwelling in Suffolk). In 2018 we won BD’s sustainability architect of the year award, amongst a number of others. From 2020 we have agreed to boycott all awards until social and environmental issues are at the forefront of decision making.
